In Replay Value, McPixel scored a 9 out of 10 because of it’s free DLC and requirement to play the levels twice and finish them in different ways. Took me five attempts to figure this one out. These breaks can be up to ten minutes apart, but that really depends on how long it takes the player to pass the puzzles. The immersion can set in almost immediately if the player chooses to continue. With the game’s batches of puzzles the immersion breaks after completing each one, giving the player the option to either leave the game, go on to the next step, or replay to get 100%. Regarding player Immersion in the game, McPixel receives an 8 out of 10. This relieves the stress that can build up while stuck on a particular puzzle. By presenting players with “batches” of short puzzles the game can provide instant gratification for beating a puzzle more frequently in lower doses. Each puzzle only lasts twenty seconds, and all of the puzzles are bundled into sets of six. The game is designed to be played in short intervals. In terms of game Mechanics, McPixel gets a 9 out of 10. At the main menu, if you click on “Extras” McPixel will kick a man, get his foot stuck in the man’s butt, sucked into the butt, and teleports to the “Extras” menu. McPixel is an Indie game create by the developer “Sos.” The game has received tons of praise and is now available for purchase on Steam for five dollars.Īlmost nothing you encounter in the game is expected.
